What you'll need:
- Moda Vera Blankie 300g Yarn:
- Peach (MC) x 1
- Silver (C1) x 1
- 4 Seasons 10 Ply Spot Saver 200g Yarn:
- Black (C2) x 1 (or any Chunky Leftover Yarn).
- Size 7 mm Crochet Hook
- 1 replaceable stitch marker or safety pin.

- Abbey Road Bagology 25 mm O-Ring Spring Clasp

- Yarn needle, scissors
Finished Size
Approx. 30 cm wide (60 cm circumference) x 30 cm deep
Tension
9.5 sts x 8 rows to 10cm, using 7 mm Crochet Hook and dc.

Body
Base -
Using MC, make 21ch.
1st Rnd (RS) - Miss 1ch, 2dc in next ch, 1dc in next 18ch, 4dc in next ch, cont by working sts on other side of chains, 1dc in next 18ch, 2dc in same ch at beg of rnd, slst in first dc at beg of rnd ... 44sts.
2nd Rnd - 1ch, 2dc in same st as slst, 1dc in next 20sts, 2dc in next 2sts, 1dc in next 20sts, 2dc in last st, slst in first dc at beg of rnd ... 48sts.
3rd Rnd- 1ch, 2dc in same st as slst, 1dc in next 22sts, 2dc in next 2sts, 1dc in next 22sts, 2dc in last st, slst in first dc at beg of rnd ... 52sts.
Main (worked in continuous rnds) -
1st Rnd - 1ch, 1dc in back loop of each st to end, pm (place marker) on last st ... 52sts.
Next Rnd - Cont working in rnds with 1dc in each st of 1st Rnd, removing and placing marker (rpm) after each rnd.
Work an additional 12 rnds of dc.
Next Rnd - 1dc in each st to side of Main Body, slst in next st and fasten off MC.
Next Rnd - Using C1, draw up a loop, 1dc in each st to end of rnd, pm on last dc.
Work an additional 5 rnds of dc, rpm after each rnd, slst in next st, fasten off C1.
Fastening Strap (Worked on Back of Bag with Magnet on Front)
1st Row (RS) - Using C2, with 2 strands held tog, (outer and inner ball ends), miss 10sts from side of Bag, draw up a loop in next st, 1ch, 1dc in the same st, 1dc in the next 5sts, turn ... 6sts.
2nd Row - 1ch, 1 dc in each st to the end, turn.
Rep 2nd Row 9 more times, fasten off.
Lens
Using C2 and 2 strands held tog, make 2ch.
1st Rnd - 6dc in the first ch, pm on last st... 6sts.
2nd Rnd - 2dc in each st, rpm ... 12sts.
3rd Rnd - *2dc in next st, 1dc in the next st, rep from * to end of rnd, rpm ... 18sts.
4th Rnd - *2dc in next st, 1dc in the next 2sts, rep from * to end of rnd, rpm .... 24sts.
5th Rnd - *2dc in next st, 1dc in the next 3sts, rep from * to end of rnd, rpm .... 30sts.
6th Rnd - *2dc in next st, 1dc in the next 4sts, rep from * to end of rnd, rpm ... 36sts.
7th Rnd - *2dc in next st, 1dc in the next 5sts, rep from * to end of rnd, slst in next st ... 42sts, fasten off C2.
8th Rnd - Using C1, draw up a loop, 1ch, 1dc in each st to end of rnd, slst in the first ch, fasten off.
Flash Detail
Using C2 and 2 strands held tog, make 6ch.
1st Rnd (RS) - Miss 1ch, 2dc in next ch, 1dc in next 3ch, 4dc in next ch, cont by working sts on other side of chains, 1dc in next 3ch, 2dc in same ch at beg of rnd, sls in firs dc at beg of rnd ... 14sts, fasten off.
Finishing
Using MC and yarn needle, add some back stitches to Lense & Flash as per image. Using C2 single strand only, place and sew Lens & Flash Detail to Front of Bag. Fasten Magnetic clasps to Fastening Strap & on Front of Bag as per instructions on packaging. Attach 'Handmade' Label on Fastening Strap to conceal Magnet pins. Attach O-Rings to both sides of Bag, picking up one dc on either side with 2dc in between (creates a small side gusset) approx. 3 rnds from edge. Weave in all loose ends.
Attach Shoulder strap.
