- Abbey Road B'coz I'm Happy 8 Ply Yarn 100g balls:
- Tickled Pink x 4 (4-5-5).
- Size 4 mm and 4.50 mm knitting needles or sizes required to give correct tension.
- A cable needle
- 2 stitch-holders
- Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure

Special Abbreviations
- C6B = Slip next 3sts onto cable needle and leave at back of work, K3, then K3 from cable needle.
- CR = Slip next 3sts onto cable needle and leave at back of work, K1, then K3 from cable needle.
- CL = Slip next st onto a cable needle and leave at front of work, K3, then K1 from cable needle.
- C4B - Slip next 2sts onto cable needle and leave at back of work, K2, then K2 from cable needle.
- C4F = Slip next 2sts onto cable needle and leave at front of work, K2, then K2 from cable needle.
Note: When joining in a new ball of yarn, take care to join at side edges only and to match to the colour previously used. Start each matching parts (Back & Front as well as both sleeves) on same colour sequence. In both instances, this may require winding off some yarn from the new ball of yarn until the required colour is reached.
Back
Lower Band
Using 4 mm needles, cast on 110 (118-130-142) sts.
1st row (RS) - K2, * P2, K2, rep from * to end.
2nd row - P2, * K2, P2, rep from * to end.
Last 2 rows form rib.
Cont in rib until work measures 8cm from beg, ending with a 2nd row and inc 4 sts evenly across ... 114 (122-134-146) sts.
Change to 4.50 mm needles.

Shape Shoulders -
Keeping patt correct, cast off 36 (38-42-46) sts at beg of next 2 rows.
Leave rem 42 (46-50-54) sts on a stitch-holder for Collar.
Front
Work as for Back to **.
Shape Neck -
1st row (RS) - Patt 47 (49-53-57), turn.
Cont on these 47 (49-53-57) sts for left side of neck.
*** Keeping patt correct, dec one st at neck edge in every row until 39 (41-45-49) sts rem, then in every foll alt row until 36 (38-42-46) sts rem.
Work 1 row patt.
Shape Shoulder - Keeping patt correct, cast off rem 36 (38-42-46) sts. ***
Slip next 20 (24-28-32) sts onto stitch-holder and leave for Collar.
Join yarn to rem sts and patt to end.
Cont on these 47 (49-53-57) sts for right side of neck.
Rep from *** to ***, working one more row before casting off for shoulder.
Sleeves
Using 4 mm needles, cast on 42 (46-50-54) sts.
Cuff -
Work in rib as for lower band of Back until work measures 8cm from beg, ending with a 1st row.
Next row (WS) - Rib 11 (13-15-17), inc in next st, (rib 2, inc in next st) 6 times, rib to end ... 49 (53-57-61) sts.
Change to 4.50 mm needles.
Beg Patt -
1st row (RS) - K1, (P1, K1) 2 (3-4-5) times, (P3, K9) 3 times, P3, K1, (P1, K1) 2 (3-4-5) times.
2nd row - Knit all knit sts and purl all purl sts as they appear.
3rd row - P1, (K1, P1) 2 (3-4-5) times, (P3, CR, K1, CL) 3 times, P4, (K1, P1) 2 (3-4-5) times.
4th row - Knit all knit sts and purl all purl sts as they appear.
Rows 1 to 4 incl form patt.
Keeping patt correct and working extra sts into double moss st, inc one st at each end of next row, then in every foll 4th row until there are 61 (65-69-73) sts, then in every foll 6th row until there are 81 (85-89-93) sts.
Cont in patt without shaping until work measures 46cm from beg, working last row on WS.
Cast off loosely in patt.
Collar
Using mattress st, join right shoulder seam. With RS facing and using 4 mm needles, knit up 16sts evenly along left side of neck, knit across 20 (24-28-32) sts from front stitch-holder, knit up 16sts evenly along right side of neck, then knit across 42 (46-50-54) sts from back stitch-holder - dec 0 (0-0-4) sts evenly across ... 94 (102-110-114) sts.
Work in rib as for lower band of Back beg with a 2nd row, until Collar measures 12cm, ending with a 2nd row.
Cast off loosely in rib.
Finishing
DO NOT PRESS. Using mattress st, join left shoulder and Collar seam. Tie coloured threads 21 (22-23-24) cm down from shoulder seams on each side edge of Back and Front to mark beg of armholes as there is no armhole shaping. Sew in sleeves evenly between coloured threads, placing centre of sleeves to shoulder seams. Join side and sleeve seams.
