Tick Off All Your Party Supplies Checklist Here

Throwing an amazing party requires a lot of planning. But with Spotlight, you can easily tick off all the essentials on your party checklist, including:

1. Balloons, Balloon Garlands and All the Accessories

Nothing says "party" like balloons. Choose from our foil balloons and latex balloons in heaps of colours. Mix in confetti balloons and balloon bouquets for more colours, then hang balloon garlands to complete your setup. We also offer balloon inflation services in selected stores so our team can inflate your helium balloons while you browse the aisles.

2. Party Tableware and Servingware For All Your Guests

Set the table in style with party tableware including cups, plates, cutlery, napkins, table covers, straws, platters, and more. You'll find options here to match your party theme and occasion.

3. Party Decorations That Set the Theme

Good party decor sets the mood before your first guest walks in. We stock buntings and garlands, banners, backdrops, confetti, as well as hanging decorations and table centrepieces. Match them with your tableware and balloons to pull your whole theme together.

4. Cards & Gift Wrap

Present your gifts beautifully with our huge range of cards and gift wrap for your presents, including ribbons, bows, gift bags, shredded tissue and paper fillers, and more. Top it off with a greeting card to make it more personal.

5. Party Favours, Games, and Sweet Treats

Party games keep the room buzzing with activity. Hang one of our sturdy pinatas stuffed with wrapped lollies so everyone gets a turn to break it open. You can also pack party bags with glow sticks, small toys, confectionery and other party favours for easy game prizes. Then hand out noisemakers and party poppers right before everyone gathers around the cake.

6. Baking and Chocolate Making Tools

Baking a birthday cake at home feels personal, and your kids can join in on the fun. We stock bakeware, cake decorating tools, and cake toppers for celebrations big and small. You can even find icing and baking ingredients for a true one-stop party prep.

7. Costumes and Accessories

Get party-ready with our costumes and costume accessories for any look. You'll find full costumes for men, women's costumes, kids' costumes, and even pet costumes. There are options for Halloween, Book Week, Easter and every celebration in between.

How to Choose Party Supplies That Match Your Theme

Start by choosing a party theme that suits your celebration, then pick two or three colours to tie everything together. Use these colours as a guide when shopping for balloons, banners, streamers and other party decorations. You can also match your plates, cups and table covers for a coordinated party table. For themed celebrations, mix patterned decorations with plain-coloured supplies to keep things balanced. Focus on key spots like the cake table, entrance or photo backdrop. That way, you can bring your theme to life without decorating every corner or stretching your budget.

How Many Balloons, Party Bags and Plates Do You Need?

Start with your guest count and how you'll serve food. Plan one plate, one cup and one set of cutlery per guest, plus a few spares for drops. Allow two to three napkins per person, because they usually go through more than you expect. For children's parties, plan one party bag per child and a couple of extras for unexpected guests. The balloon quantity depends on your display. A small bunch might suit a table, while a balloon garland or arch needs more. Check your kit instructions before buying.
