Curtain Track Brackets & Cords

Fix, Mount and Connect with Curtain Track Accessories for Every Setup

Curtains not sliding properly or sagging tracks can affect both the functionality and the appearance of your window furnishings. In this case, it's the small pieces that are often overlooked but do the heavy lifting in a curtain setup that are important to your window dressings. At Spotlight, you can shop a wide range of curtain track accessories to upgrade your curtain tracks and keep them running smoothly. Explore our range of accessories, including stretch wires, track carriers and brackets to find the right curtain track accessories you need right here at Spotlight.

What Exactly Are Curtain Track Accessories?

Curtain track accessories are the small but essential parts that help attach, slide, support, connect, and finish curtain tracks. There are a number of different curtain track accessories out there, with a few common types including brackets, gliders, joiners, end stops, and cords.

What Curtain Track Accessories Do I Need?

The curtain track accessories you may need varies depending on your window furnishings setup. For instance, S-Fold joiners will allow you to connect two S-Fold curtain tacks together, where support brackets are designed for heavy curtains. You can even find corner connectors here at Spotlight, which are great for bay windows. Not all setups are compatible with every accessory, nor will you need them all!

Slide Curtains Smoothly with Gliders, Runners and Carriers

The difference between gliders and runners may be confusing. Put simply, they both help curtains open and close smoothly and are a must-have for most track systems. Where gliders slide inside the track channel, runners and carriers use wheels to move along the track and are designed for heavier curtains, such as blockout curtains. At Spotlight, you can shop from a range of options suitable for single and double tracks, plus heavier fabrics.

Mount Tracks Securely with Brackets and Support Accessories

The two most common approaches to mounting your curtains are either a wall mount, where curtain tracks are attached to the wall above the window, or a ceiling mount, where curtain tracks are fixed directly to the ceiling or the very top of your wall for a "floating" effect. Brackets help hold the curtain track up, making it incredibly important to choose the right type. You may find you need centre support or extension brackets when installing longer curtain tracks or a heavier pair of curtains. Remember to check the weight of the curtains when choosing how many brackets to use.

Connect, Join and Extend Tracks with Simple Add-ons

Spotlight's connectors, joiners and extenders make it easy to build out and adjust your curtain track system. Our range of joiners is great for longer spans, where our corner connectors are excellent for tricky window shapes. And if appearance is important to you, you can also find a range of end stops that help neaten the edges of your curtain tracks for a nice, clean look.

Keep Curtains Neat and Working Well with the Right Finishing Touches

Functionality and aesthetics are important when upgrading your window coverings, and Spotlight's range of cord guides, curtain track cords and end caps has you covered. A curtain track cord is a string-like mechanism that allows you to control your curtains from the side without touching the fabric. To secure these cords in place, you can use a cord guide that helps to essentially guide the cord into the right place, helping to neaten your window furnishings while ensuring functionality. In addition to curtain cord guides, curtain track end caps keep your curtain tracks looking neat, but also help to prevent your curtain accessories from sliding off your hardware.

Make Sure It All Works Together with the Right Fit

While many accessories are universal, it's always smart to match parts to your track type to ensure complete compatibility. Spotlight offers a range of different parts to suit different systems and setups. Check out the full range in store or online to find the perfect parts for your curtain tracks.
