Preparation

1. Design: Open design space link https://design.cricut.com/landing/project-detail/6994ed869a4d9da7fdcdc6d0. Click 'customise' to open design on 'canvas' tab, so you can resize if desired. Edit the name, date and address with your details. Add any other elements or text as you wish. When you are happy with your design, click 'make' on top tool bar and follow the prompts to connect your Cricut smart cutting machine.

Cut

1. Cut: Click 'Material Load Type' dropdown and then choose 'With Mat' for Printable Vinyl and Cardstock. For the Print Then Cut design, select send to printer and print on an inkjet printer.
2. Then choose your material and follow prompts to load material into your Cricut smart cutting machine. Follow prompts and watch as your Cricut machine cuts out the design. When it's finished, unload material and set aside. Repeat for the cardstock backer.

Assemble

1. Assemble: Place your cut cardstock on a flat surface before removing the backing of the printable vinyl. Carefully apply to the cardstock and press down to ensure it has adhered. Voila! Your personalised birthday invite is now complete.
