FELT WALL CHRISTMAS TREE & DECORATIONS

Instructions

Reference the downloadable project sheet for project pattern diagrams.

Note: This template has been scaled. You will need to print this template at actual size and blow it up by 570% to make it full size.

Tree

To make a template pattern for tree shape, use the provided diagram to measure and mark out tree shape & base. Cut template pattern out.

Using this template pattern, cut out from felt fabric on the fold:

• Cut out tree from dark green felt fabric
• Cut out tree base shape from dark brown felt fabric

Glue the tree base in dark brown felt on top of the base of the tree in dark green felt fabric.

Decorations

Star

Using template provided, cut one star from daffodil felt fabric.

Gingerbread Men

Using template provided, cut gingerbread men from dark brown felt fabric.

Tie a bow from gingham ribbon and glue to the neckline of gingerbread man.

Glue two buttons evenly spaced below the gingham bow on to gingerbread man shape.

Candy Canes

Using template provided, cut 2x candy canes shapes from white felt & 1x from red felt.

Cut up the red candy cane shape into sections as per indicated on the template.

Glue every second cut section on to the two white candy cane shapes, making two full candy canes.

Baubles

Using template provided, cut out the larger circle bauble shapes from desired coloured felt fabrics.

Cut a small piece from daffodil or white felt measuring 13mm high by 25mm wide for the top hanger of the bauble. Glue to the top of the bauble circle shape.

Cut a piece of white ric rac trim to the width of the bauble and glue in place in the centre of the shape.

Small circle baubles

Using template provided, cut out the smaller circle bauble shapes from desired coloured felt fabrics.

Attaching tree to wall

Tree can be attached to a wall or door is desired by using 3M command strips as per manufacturers' directions.
