SPOTSAVER 10PLY HEART MOTIF THROW
Level: Intermediate
What you'll need:
- 4 Seasons Spot Saver 10 Ply 200 g Yarn x 3
- A circular 6 mm knitting needle (100 cm long) or size required to give correct tension.
- Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure.
Finished Size
Width (approx.): 117 cm
Length (approx.): 148 cm
Tension
14 sts and 20 rows to 10 cm over stocking st, using 6 mm needles.
Instructions
Note: A circular needle has been used to accommodate the large number of sts. Work forwards and backwards in rows, not rounds.
Using 6 mm needle, cast on 163 sts.
Beg Lower Edging -
Knit 5 rows garter st (1st row is WS).
Beg Patt -
Note - When joining in a new ball of yarn, join inside the 3 garter sts on side edges of work to keep the edges neat on the Throw.
1st row (RS) - K4, * K9, P1, K3, P1, K8, rep from * to last 5 sts, K5.
2nd row - K3, P2, * P9, K1, P1, K1, P10, rep from * to last 4 sts, P1, K3.
