Instructions

Prepare & Measure

1. Unpack all track components, including the corner connector and gliders.
2. Measure your installation area, always follow the manufacturer's instructions on spacing the brackets accurately, typically 50cm, to support the tracks and distribute the weight evenly. Use a level, so that the S-Fold glides correctly upon completion.

Install the Brackets

1. Position your first bracket on your marked line and mark the screw holes.
   - For Timber or Window Frames, drill pilot holes that are smaller than the actual screw size. This will assist when drilling the actual screws in.
   - For Brick or Masonry Wall, drill tight fitting holes to accommodate the wall plugs.
2. Screw the brackets securely into place.
3. Continue installing brackets along your marked line, adhering to the manufacturer's guidelines which are included in all S-Fold tracks supplied at Spotlight.

Install the Corner Connector

1. Lay out both straight track pieces on the floor in the correct orientation, removing the existing gliders, and the end caps that will form the corner.
2. Insert the end of each track into the corner connector.
3. Add Gliders
   - Measure the required length of gliders to accommodate the corner connector. Use the existing quantity removed as a guide.
   - Install the gliders into the track, ensuring the gliders are secured at each end of the track. Instructions are available within each pack of gliders to assist further.
   - Remember you will need an even number of S-Fold gliders for your hooks, if you wish to attach a wand, leave an uneven number of gliders.
4. With assistance, lift the assembled track and connector up onto the mounted brackets.
5. Clip or screw the track into the brackets, starting from one end and working across the corner.

Prepare the Curtain

1. Lay your sheer curtain flat.
2. Insert hooks into the S-Fold heading tape according to the manufacturer's instructions to ensure that you have the correct number of hooks to create the perfect S-Fold.
3. Remember to use an even number of hooks.

Hang the Curtain

1. Start at one end of the track and attach each hook to a glider.
2. Continue along, keeping the folds consistent.
3. Once hung, gently adjust the fabric so the S-Folds fall evenly.
4. Open and close the curtain to ensure smooth gliding, especially around the corner connector.
