VELVET OTTOMAN

INSTRUCTION

Step 1 - Using the tape measure, record the measurements of your ottoman from the underneath of one side across to the underneath of the opposite side. Record measurement, then repeat for the other side of the rectangle. Add 5cm to both the recorded measurements.

Step 2 - Rule a rectangle onto the fabric using the measurements from step 1. Cut the piece out of your velvet fabric.

Step 3 - Next lay the fabric piece on a flat surface or table. Place the ottoman on top of the fabric and ensure it's centred.

Step 4 - Pull the fabric up the sides of the ottoman and carefully use the staple gun to staple the fabric in place on the underside of the ottoman. We recommend stapling a piece of the fabric on the centre of each side first to ensure you can enough fabric on each side.

Step 5 - Next work on the corners. They easiest way to do the corners is to pull the corner of the fabric up and over the corner of the ottoman and staple in place. Then fold both sides of the corner fabric in on itself so it sits nice and flat on each side of the corner.

Step 6 - Then continue to work your way around the ottoman until all the fabric is attached and you ottoman is complete!
