VELVET BED HEAD

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• 5 packs of 4 x 12inch square 'Semco' canvases
• 3m of Laundry Crushed Velvet
• 3m of Wadding
• Staple gun
• Staples
• Scissors
• Ruler
• Cardboard

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1. Draw a 35cm x 35cm square onto card to create template.

Step 2. Trace around template onto the back of velvet fabric 20 times and cut out.

Step 3. Repeat step 2 with the wadding. You should now have 20 pieces of pre-cut velvet and wadding.

Step 4. Lay velvet face down onto a table, followed by a piece of the wadding. Then place canvas face down in the center.

Step 5. Start on one side of the canvas and staple the fabric/wadding to the frame of the canvas using the staple gun. Staple along the edge until all fabric is secure.

Step 6. Repeat this process on the opposite side pulling the fabric to make sure it's well stretched across the front.

Step 7. Once 2 sides are complete, finish the ends by folding in fabric so the corner is neat and continue securing fabric to the canvas frame with the staple gun.

Step 8. Repeat this process for all 20 canvases.

Step 9. Once all canvases are covered with fabric and wadding, they're ready to hang!

Step 10. Measure out the distances for hanging all the canvases together. Place hook into wall and begin hanging canvases one by one until the whole bed head is complete!
