  • Felt sheets in pink, yellow and green
  • 'Happy Easter' Wooden Bunnies
  • 'Happy Easter' ribbon
  • 'Happy Easter' Egg Picks
  • Wire cutters
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 - Start by cutting the yellow and pink felt into different sized circles. Then take the circles of felt and cut them into a spiral. The outside you want to be wider than the inside, so start out making a wide strip and slowly make it smaller. Do this with all your felt circles. We used 10 flowers for our bonnet.

Step 2 - To assemble your flowers take the inside of the spiral and start rolling it in on itself. Try and keep the bottom of the felt lined up as you continue rolling. Cover the bottom of the felt flower with hot glue and fold the end of the spiral strip down on the glue. Cut any excess felt if you have any.

Step 3 - Cut out leaf shapes from green felt and put a small amount of hot glue on one end and pinch to glue together.

Step 4 - Tie ribbon around base of bonnet and secure with hot glue in a few spots.

Step 5 - Use the wire cutters to cut the wire from the base of the Easter egg picks.

Step 6 - You can now begin to assemble the bonnet. Scatter the felt flowers and leaves, eggs and wooden rabbits around the brim of the hat and glue in place to finish.
