BELLA BABY BABY CROCHET CHENILLE THROW

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- "Bella Baby" Baby Chenille 50g x 6 balls 1st Colour (C1) Natural, 6 balls 2nd Colour (C2) Peach and 2 balls 3rd Colour (C3) White.
- A 6mm crochet hook or size required to give correct tension.
- Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure
SIZE
Width (approx): 90 cm
Length (approx): 95 cm
TENSION
One ogee motif measures 12cm at widest point x 18cm in length, using 6mm hook.
SPECIAL ABBREVIATIONS
Beg Cl = 3ch, 2tr in specified st/sp.
Cl = cluster - 3tr in specified st/sp.
INSTRUCTIONS
FIRST OGEE (make 30)
Using a 6mm hook and C1 make 6ch, join with a sl st to form ring.
1st round - Beg cl in ring, (2ch, cl) 5 times, 2ch, join with a sl st in 3rd chain at beg ... 6 x (cl, 2ch) groups.
Fasten off C1.
Using C2, 2nd round - Beg cl in last 2ch sp, (cl, 2ch, cl) in each 2ch sp to last 2ch sp, cl in last 2ch sp, 1dc (counts as 2ch) in 3rd ch at beg.
3rd round - Beg cl around dc, 5ch, 1tr in 4th ch from hook, 1tr in next ch, cl around dc, (cl between next 2 clusters, 6tr in next 2ch sp) twice, cl between next 2 cls, cl in next 2ch sp, 5ch, 1tr in 4th ch from hook, 1tr in next ch, cl in same sp, rep from to once sl st in 3rd ch at beg.
4th round - 1ch, 1dc in each st and ch to end, sl st in first dc at beg.
Fasten off.
SECOND OGEE (make 20)
Work as for First Ogee, using C2 in place of C1 and C1 in place of C2.
TOP AND BOTTOM HALF OGEE (make 10)
Using 6mm hook and C2, make 5ch, join with a sl st to form a ring.
1st row - 5ch (counts as 1tr, 2ch), (cl, 2ch, cl) in ring. 2ch, 1tr in ring, turn.
Fasten off C2.
Using C1, 2nd row - 3ch, (2tr, 2ch, cl) in first 2ch sp, (cl, 2ch, cl) in next 2ch sp, (cl, 2ch, 2tr) in last 2ch sp, 1tr in 3rd of 5ch, turn.
3rd row - 3ch, 1tr in same st, 6tr in next 2ch sp, cl between next 2 cls, cl in next 2ch sp, 5ch, 1tr in 4th ch from hook, 1tr in next ch, cl in same 2ch sp, cl between next 2 cls, 6tr in next 2ch sp, miss 2 sts, 2tr in last tr, turn.
4th row - 1ch, 1dc in each st and ch to end.
Fasten off.
CORNER OGEE (make 4)
Using 6mm hook and C2, make 4ch, join with a sl st to form a ring.
1st row - 5ch (counts as 1tr, 2ch), (cl, 2ch, 1tr) in ring, turn.
Fasten off C2.
Using C1, 2nd row - 3ch (2tr, 2ch, cl) in next 2ch sp, 4tr in next 2ch sp, turn.
3rd row - Beg cl in same st, cl between next 2cls, 6tr in next 2ch sp, miss 2 sts, 2tr in last st, turn.
4th row - 1ch, 1dc in same st, 1dc in each st to end.
Fasten off.
SIDE HALF OGEE (make 8)
Using 6mm hook and C2, make 5ch, join with a sl st to form a ring.
1st round - 3ch, (cl, 2ch, in ring) twice, 4tr in ring, turn.
Fasten off C2.
Using C1, 2nd row - Beg cl in same st, (cl, 2ch, cl) in each of next 2ch sps, miss 3 sts, cl in last st, turn.
3rd row - Beg cl in same st, (cl between next 2 cls, 6tr in next 2ch sp) twice, cl between next 2 cls, miss 2 sts, cl in last st, turn.
4th row - 1ch, 1dc in same st, 1dc in each st to end.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
DO NOT PRESS. Slip st top and bottom of first ogee motifs together into 6 strips of 5 motifs. Slip st top and bottom of second ogee motifs tog into 5 strips of 4 motifs, then slip st top and bottom motifs to 5 strips of second ogee motifs. With RS facing and using 6mm hook, C3 and working in dc, join strips tog as pictured. With RS facing, using 6mm hook, C3 and dc, join side and corner motifs around all edges as pictured.
Beg Edging - With RS facing, using 6mm hook and C3, work 2 rows dc evenly around all edges, working 3 dc in each corner and taking care to keep work flat.
