With the added stretch-factor, this particular jacquard is ideal for body-hugging and fitted garments. Because this fabric is offered in a variety of colours, it's a great choice if you're looking to add a colour-blocking element to your garments. Pre-wash, dry and flatten your fabric prior to cutting and sewing.
The fabric may curl at the edges when cut.
Relax fabric and lay flat when sewing.
Use a stretch "ST" or ball point "B" sewing needle 80/12 or 90/14 for best results.
An overlocker is ideal for securing seams.
Silicone tape or seam tape can also be beneficial when securing seams and maintaining garment shape.
