BUNNY SLEEP SACK

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Template
• 1m x Lovely Bunny Flannel
• 1m x Pink Minky Dot Lining
• Velcro
• Scissors
• Ruler
• Pencil
• Paper
• Sewing Machine and Matching thread
• Hand sewing needle

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1.Use the measurements from the template to draw up pattern onto pattern paper. All the measurements include a 1cm seam allowance.

Step 2. Once you have drawn up your pattern cut out and pin onto fabric.

Step 3.You need to cut a FRONT and BACK out of each fabric. The Lovely Bunny Flannel is the Main fabric and the Pink Minky Dot fabric is the lining.

Step 4.Pin the fronts and back of each fabric together with right sides facing in.

Step 5.Sew around the sides and base of sack leaving a 1cm seam allowance, repeat for the lining.
Step 6.Put the lining sack inside the main sack with right sides facing together. Pin the fronts and backs together all the way around.

Step 7.Start sewing along the centre back neckline and continue around each shoulder strap and armhole until you make your way back round to the back neckline. Stop sewing about 6cm from the start of stitching line, to leave a gap to turn the whole sack inside out.

Step 8.Turn sack inside out through the gap that was left open and tuck lining into corners. You may need to use a knitting needle or pen to help tuck the straps through and keep flat.

Step 9.Hand stitch the opening shut to enclose all the seams.

Step 10.To finish cut small strips of Velcro about 4cm long and stitch to the front and back of shoulder straps.
