DIY JOLLY & JOY PAPIER MACHE HOUSES

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 - Use a small paint brush to paint the roofs, window panes, chimney tops and door way arches in white. The white can be a little transparent so it will take a couple of coats to get a solid colour. Allow paint to dry between each coat of paint.

Step 2 - Between the coats of white on the houses, start painting the standing wooden trees and reindeers. Again the wood can soak up a bit of the paint so do a few coats to get a solid colour.

Step 3 - Once the white is dry on the houses you can use a larger brush to paint the door ways and walls in the colours of your choice. Again paint a few coats and leave to dry.

Step 4 - While your houses are drying, use a small paint brush to paint the wooden shapes. We used the star, wreath and car to decorate our mini village.

Step 5 - Add a bit of extra sparkle to your houses by painting some PVA glue along the gables and sprinkling some glitter onto the wet glue. Wait for glue to dry before shaking off the excess glitter.

Step 6 - To finish add some floral battery lights inside each house, and turn on tobring your village to life!
