FINISHING

With a slightly damp cloth and warm iron, press lightly on WS if desired. Using a flat seam, join short side edges of 1st motif to form a ring. Thread 2nd motif through 1st motif and join side edges together. Cont in this manner, joining each subsequent motif together, until all motifs are joined. Using one strand of each colour together, wind yarns around a piece of cardboard 25cm wide 5 times and cut along one edge. Using 1 strand of each colour, fasten in centre of lengths, taking care to leave enough yarn on each end to attach to last ring of garland. Using 1 strand of each colour wind yarns around top of tassel as pictured and fasten off securely to create a tassel as pictured. Make a 2nd tassel in the same manner. Join tassels securely to last ring on each end of garland as pictured. Sew in ends.
