PURE WOOL 8PLY POM POM TASSEL

LEVEL: EASY

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• '4 Seasons' Pure Wool 8ply, 50g balls
• 1 x ball in each of the following colours :-
  - Turquoise
  - Hot Pink
  - Yellow
  - Dusty Blue
• Pom Pom Maker

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1. Start by making 3 different sized poms poms. Make pom poms by wrapping yarn around the pom pom maker and tying off once desired size is reached.

Step 2. Once tied securely cut around all looped edges of yarn to create the pom pom.

Step 3. Repeat this process with the 2 other colours of yarn to create your 3 different sized pom poms.

Step 4. To make tassel cut a piece of cardboard to the finished length you would like your tassel to be. We chose 15cm. Wrap yarn around the centre of cardboard until you
reach the desired thickness you wish for your tassel.

Step 5. Carefully slide wrapped yarn off 1 side of cardboard onto your fingers. Using another piece of yarn, wrap around near the top of the looped yarn to create the head of your tassel. Secure tightly with a knot and some hot glue to keep in place.

Step 6. To create tassel ends, cut along the bottom looped edges of the yarn.

Step 7. Now you have all your pieces you can assemble your design. Cut a long piece of yarn and create a loop at the top to allow for hanging. Tie on each pom pom starting with the largest at the top and finishing with the tassel, spacing all pieces evenly.

Step 8. Secure all knots and hang to display.
