WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Measurement (approx) 30 cms x 30 cms/12 ins x 12 ins
22 sts and 28 rows approx to 10 cms/4 ins over dc, using 5.00mm (US H/8), (UK 6) Crochet Hook.

alt - alternate, ch - chain, dc - double crochet,
foll - follow/ing, sl st - slip stitch, beg - begin/ning, cont - continue/ing, rep - repeat, rem- remain/ing, tr - treble, patt - pattern, lp - loop/s, dec - decrease, RS - right side, WS - wrong side.
Back and Front (both alike) Using 5.00mm (US H/8), (UK 6) Hook, make 2 ch.
1st row - 6dc into 2nd ch from hook. Do not join, but work in continuous rounds, placing a marker at beg of rounds.
2nd row - 2dc in each dc to end = 12 dc.
3rd row - * 1dc into next dc, 2dc into next dc, rep from * to end = 18 dc.
4th row - * 1dc into each of next 2dc, 2dc into next dc, rep from * to end = 24 dc.
5th row - * 1dc into each of next 3dc, 2dc into next dc, rep from * to end = 30 dc.
6th row - * 1dc into each of next 4dc, 2dc into next dc, rep from * to end = 26 dc.
7th row - * 1dc into each of next 5dc, 2dc into next dc, rep from * to end = 42 dc. Cont increasing in this manner, working 1 extra dc between every increase, until diameter measures 30 cms/12 ins. Sl st in next st at end. Fasten off. Ear (make 2) Using 4.00mm (US 6), (UK 8) Hook, make 11 ch.
1st row - Miss first ch, 1dc in each of next 10 ch.
2nd row - 1ch, 1dc in each dc to end. Rep 2nd row 10 times. Dec one st each end of next row, then in every foll alt row until 2 sts rem. Fasten off. With RS facing, work 1 row dc evenly along outside edges of ear, working 3dc into each dc at top of ear. Fasten off. Sew a dart at bottom of each ear.
DO NOT PRESS. Using black yarn, embroider nose and eyes using satin stitch, and mouth using straight stitches as pictured. Join front and back pieces together, leaving an opening for filling, fill and close opening. Attach ears as pictured.
