Make sure the tail and legs are flat under body, so it sits up. Make a small flat oval of Lemonade and stick it to belly. Roll out a sausage of Lemonade, cut two lengths for horns. Twist them over themselves.
Cut small sections of the Lemonade sausage and shape them into triangles for spikes. Flatten some Leaf Green in the Clay roller, cut out wing shapes and stick to back. Make two small balls of black for eyes.

Cat - Mix one part black and 3 parts white. Make a body shape with a ball of white. Roll out a sausage and shape into a cats tail.
Use accent colour to make markings on the cat. Roll flat some white and cut out two triangles for the cats ears, shape using the ball tool. Draw a face on with a waterproof marker.

Octopus - Mix one part white with a bar of purple and roll a large ball for the head. Roll eight smaller balls for the tentacles

Piggy - Roll an oval of Ballerina into a body shape. Make two holes for the eyes. Roll two small balls of black and squish into
the holes to make the Pigs eyes. Using Dusty Rose make an oval for his nose and two triangles for his ears. Use the ball tool to shape the ears and nose.

POM POM BIRDS

Chick - Using 2 strands of yarn together, make one firm large pom pom and one firm small pom pom, leaving long ends on small
pom pom for fastening through large pom pom. Thread ends left on small pom pom through centre of large pom pom and fasten off securely. Trim carefully into a chick shape. Cut a small diamond of felt for beak and fold in half. Glue securely in position as pictured. Using small beads or small circular pieces of felt, glue eyes in position as pictured.

Budgie - Work as for Chick making the large pom pom in one colour and the small pom pom in another colour. Thread a few strands of black through from side to side on head and trim as pictured.

Penguin - Using 2 strands of first colour together, work first half of one firm large pom pom, then work remaining half in second colour, Make one firm small pom pom in same manner, leaving long ends on small pom pom for fastening through large
pom pom. Thread ends left on small pom pom through centre of large pom pom and fasten off securely. Complete as for Chick, adding felt feet as pictured, fastening in position with craft glue.

DECOFOAM CHICKENS

Step 1 - Paint the decofoam eggs using the yellow and white paint to create the body of your chickens. You may wish to apply
another coat for a stronger colour.

Step 2 - While the paint is drying draw the below body shapes onto the felt for each chicken - 2 x feet in orange, 2 x wings in
yellow, 1 x beak shape in orange (diamond shape), 1 x comb in red (the part on top of their head), 2 x oval shapes in white for eyes, 2 x small black circles for pupils. Draw these shapes onto the assorted colours of felt using your chicken as a guide
to determine the size. Then cut out 2 oval shapes in white felt and 2 smaller circles out of black felt to create the eyes.

Step 3 - Attach feet, wings and comb to your chicken with glue. Fold the beak in half and attach to the chickens face with glue -
for best results use a hot glue gun. To finish your chicken, attach the felt eyes above the beak and again secure with glue.

Step 4 - Repeat for each chicken.

FELT FISHING GAME

WARNING - This project contains small magnetic objects and is not recommended for children under 3 years of age due to
choking hazards.

FISH

Cut one fish shape from each of the coloured felt squares and 4x circles from the white felt square. Cut a 15mm square from magnetic sheet or use a round magnet and stick on top center of each of the coloured fish. Stick a white felt circle on top of the magnet and coloured fish shape. Ensure the magnet is securely stuck between the felt fish and white felt circle.

Cut a 25mm high numeral from some corresponding felt colour to the fish and stick on top of the white felt circle. Stick one goggle eye to fish just beside the fish's mouth.

FISHING ROD

Thread one end of string through the hole in the wooden spool and pull string through to other side. Make a knot in the string large enough to tightly fit back inside the hole in the spool. Glue knot inside the hole leaving a 1cm length of string still poking out of hole in the spool. Glue the 1cm end of string to the flat underside of wooden spool. Cut a circle just smaller than the round flat side of the spool from the magnetic sheet or use a round magnet. Securely glue magnet to flat side of spool covering up and
securing the 1cm end of the string. Trim other end of string to a length of 40cm. Glue the other end of the string to one end of the wooden dowel rod and wrap the string around rod until desired length of fishing line is achieved. Glue wrapped strip securely to wooden rod.

CHENILLE FINGER PUPPETS

Butterfly - Wrap white chenille stick around finger tightly to form coil body shape. Glue medium sized white pom pom to the top of the coil body. Glue eyes to front of the pop pom. Cut two small antennae from black chenille sticks and glue to top of pom pom head. Make one side of the wings by looping one blue chenille stick into two loops, securing ends by twisting together in the center. Make another wing and secure to other wing in the center. Glue the center wings to the middle of the back of the coil body.

Frog - Wrap one of the green chenille sticks around finger tightly to form coil body shape. Glue green pom pom to the top of
the coil body. Glue two small green pom poms to the top of the medium pom pom on either side. Glue eyes to front of the small
pom poms. Twist the other green chenille stick into two curved leg shapes with a short straight length at each end for feet. Glue the center of the legs to the back of the coil body.

Chick - Wrap one of the yellow chenille sticks around finger tightly to form coil body shape. Glue medium sized yellow pom pom
to the top of the coil body. Glue eyes to the top front of the pop pom. Cut a 2cm length from the orange chenille stick and bend into a v shape. Glue v shape to pom pom below the eyes to form the beak. Trim away the top tip of the feather and glue to the back of the pom pom head of chick. Make chick's small wings by making two small loops with the remaining yellow chenille stick. Trim away excess chenille stick. Glue wings to the back of the coil body.

Pig - Wrap one of the pink chenille sticks around finger tightly to form coil body shape. Glue pink pom pom to the top of the coil body. Glue small pink pom pom to the front of the medium pom pom. Draw nostrils on small pom pom with permanent marker. Glue eyes just above the small pom pom. Cut two 2cm lengths from the remaining pink chenille stick and bend into a v shape to make ears. Glue ears to the top of the medium pom pom on either side. Cut a 3cm length of chenille stick and twist into a small coil to make the tail. Glue tail to the back of the coil body.

Bee - Wrap a yellow and black chenille stick around finger tightly to form coil body shape. Glue yellow pom pom to the top of the coil body. Glue eyes to front of the pop pom. Cut two small antennae from black chenille sticks and glue to top of pom pom head. Make the bee's wings by making two loops with the remaining black chenille stick.
