WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- 1 x Maria George Large Boater Hat Ivory
- 1 x Trimmed Sinamay Loops Fascinator, Black
- Maria George Quill Feather Black
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks (optional)
- Black thread and sewing needle
- Scissors
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1 - Carefully dissemble the trimmed sinamay loops fascinator, so you have one long piece of black sinamay.
Step 2 - Hold the sinamay strip around the base of the crown of the hat and cut to size, allowing a small overlap of about 3cm.
Step 3 - Use a hot glue gun or needle and thread to stitch the band around the crown of the hat to secure in place. Ensure the overlapped section of the band is on the same side that your bow will be, so it will be covered and look neat once finished.
Step 4 - With the left over sinamay, play with it and loop it into a bow shape and secure using a needle and thread.
Step 5 - Attach the bow to the hat using a hot glue gun.
Step 6 - To finish add the black quill feather and stitch or glue in place.
