HIPPIE HANKS CUSHION

LEVEL: EASY

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• 'Crucci' Hippie Hanks 100g x 1 hank 1st Colour (C1) Lilac and 1 hank 2nd Colour (C2) Greys.

Note - Quantities are approximate and may vary between knitters.

• 1 pair 12mm knitting needles, or size required for correct tension
• A 40cm x 40cm cushion insert
• Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure

MEASUREMENT

Width cm: 40
Length cm: 40

TENSION

7 sts x 11 rows to 10cm over stocking st slightly stretched, using 12mm needles.

INSTRUCTIONS

CUSHION

Using 12mm needles and C1, cast on 28 sts.

Beg Stripe Patt -

Work 4 rows stocking st in stripes of 2 rows C1 and 2 rows C2.

Last 4 rows form stripe patt.

Cont in stripe patt until work measures 80cm (slightly stretched), ending with a complete stripe.

Cast off loosely.

FINISHING

DO NOT PRESS. Fold work in half lengthways and using mattress st, join side edges tog to form a pocket. Place cushion insert inside and close rem seam.

Note - Cushion insert is designed to be a snug fit.
