SOLAR SYSTEM COSTUME
LEVEL: EASY
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Solar System Decofoam Kit
- Decofoam Cone 100mm 3pk
- Decofoam Cone 200mm 2pk
- AMSCAN Tutu Black (to fit Adult or Kids)
- Ribtex Headband
- Felt Sheets A4 in Orange (x2) and Yellow (x3)
- Hot Glue Gun and Sticks
- Black Thread and Needle (Preferably Curved)
- Knife
- Assorted Paints and Brushes
INSTRUCTIONS
- Paint the Decofoam pieces in the kit as desired and leave to dry, we omitted the Sun. Put Saturn together to include its rings
- Using needle and thread sew the planets onto your tutu, we recommend in the same order as the Solar System
- Cover the 3 x 100mm cones in Yellow Felt and secure with hot glue, we started at one edge/corner of the felt and rolled the cone to taper around the cone. You can fold and secure ends with glue to neaten, trim excess
- Trim the 2 x 200mm cones to approx. 12-15cm high or as desired with the knife (must be done by an adult). Similarly to Step 3, cover with Orange Felt and secure with glue
- Glue the cones to the headband as pictured
