- Bella Baby, Baby Wonder 8ply 100g M x 4, CC x 3 balls
- A circular 4.00mm knitting needle 80cm long or size required to give correct tension
- Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure

Striped Baby Blanket: Width (approx) 100 cm, Length (approx) 20 cm
TENSION
Striped Baby Beanie: 22 sts x 30 rows to 10cm over stocking st, using 4.00mm needles.

INSTRUCTIONS
Striped Baby Beanie
Using a set of 3.25mm needles and M, cast on 78 (88-100) sts evenly onto 4 needles.
1st round - K1, P1, rep from to end.
Rep last round 9 times, dec 1 (0-1) st in last round ... 77 (88-99) sts.
Using CC, knit 2 rounds.
Using M, knit 6 rounds.
Rep last 8 rounds 2 (3-4) times.
Shape Crown
Keeping stripe pattern correct, cont as folls -
1st round - K2tog, K5 (6-7), rep from to end ... 66 (77-88) sts. Knit 2 rounds.
4th round - K2tog, K4 (5-6), rep from to end ... 55 (66-77) sts. Knit 2 rounds.
7th round - K2tog, K3 (4-5), rep from to end ... 44 (55-66) sts. Knit 1 round.
9th round - K2tog, K2 (3-4), rep from to end ... 33 (44-55) sts. Knit 1 round.
11th round - K2tog, K1 (2-3), rep from to end ... 22 (33-44) sts.
12th round - K2tog, K0 (1-2), rep from to end ... 11 (22-33) sts. Sizes 6 and 9-12 months only -
13th round - K2tog, K(0-1), rep from to end ... (11-22) sts.
Size 9-12 months only -
14th round - K2tog, rep from to end ... (11) sts.
All Sizes - ... 11 sts.
Break off yarn, thread end through rem 11 sts, draw up and fasten off securely.
FINISHING
DO NOT PRESS. Sew in ends.
Striped Baby Blanket
Using 4.00mm needle and M, cast on 220 sts.
Knit 21 rows, (1st row is wrong side).
Beg Main Patt
Row 1 RS - Knit.
Row 2 - K12, purl to last 12 sts, K12.
Rep last 2 rows form main patt.
Rep last 2 rows 5 times.
Using CC, rep last 2 rows 4 times.
Last 20 rows incl form patt.
Cont in patt until work measures approx. 115cm from beg, ending with 12 rows M.
Knit 22 rows.
Cast off loosely knitways.
FINISHING
DO NOT PRESS. Sew in ends.
