How do I open and close a Sistema container?

The snap-lock lids of Sistema containers are simple to use but effective in keeping all your food in one place. To open, insert your fingers under the lip of each clip and pull out - you will hear a 'snap' as they release. Then pull the lid up and off the container.

To reseal, place the lid back on until it is lined up squarely with the container. Push the clips back down and then push inwards until you hear another 'snap' - this means they have clicked into place and are now holding the lid securely.

How do I clean my Twist and Sip Sistema bottle lid?

Remove the entire cap and place it in a bowl of freshly-boiled water for 30 seconds, then carefully remove it. Twist the cap so the nozzle is open and apply pressure between the cover and the lid base to release the cover. Clean both parts by hand or in the top rack of a dishwasher, then rejoin by lining up the tabs on the cover and base. Hold the nozzle down then twist the cover back onto the base and snap shut to finish.

What is the best way to clean my Sistema container?

Sistema containers can be placed on the top rack of your dishwasher. If you have a particularly saucy residue on the inside of your container, using a sponge to wash it in a sink with hot water and detergent is the best way to clean your Sistema container.

Be sure to use a brush to scrub the insides of the container clips to ensure no residue is left in the crevices of each one.
