DRAGON EGG

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Paper Mache Box
• Shamrock Decofoam Egg 100mm
• Artificial Moss in a bag in Green and Blue Green
• Dazzling Metallics 59ml Paint- Splendid Gold
• 100 Thumbtacks in Gold and Silver
• Color Tex One Step Textured Finish Spray in Quarry
• Skewer
• Non Stick Paper
• Sponge/paint brush

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1

Grab a sponge or a paint brush and apply a generous amount of the gold paint to the paper mache box and the lid. Leave to dry.

STEP 2

Apply the gold and silver thumbtacks to the decofoam egg until its covered completed. Try to
overlap the thumbtacks slightly so that the white decofoam is not exposed.

STEP 3

Prepare your decofoam egg for painting by sticking a wooden skewer in the bottom. Spray the egg with Color Tex inQuarry to give off a stone effect. Leave for approximately 3 hours to dry. Once the egg is dry paint your decofoam egg in patches of gold and allow to dry once again.

STEP 4

Once the decofoam egg is completely dry you can start to assemble. Gather artificial moss and place it into the paper mache box and try to make the box look full using both colours. Make a small hole in the centre of the moss with your fingers and place your dragons egg inside the box.
