MINKY DOG BED

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 - Place White fleece face down on a large surface. Place craft wadding on top of fleece, then place Yellow Micro fleece, right side up, on top of craft wadding.

Step 2 - Pin around all edges and zigzag stitch together.

Step 3 - Mark and pin 3 horizontal lines, 90cm long and 15cm apart. Stitch along these lines using a walking foot.

Step 4 - From the bottom edge, mark and pin 5 vertical lines, 45cm long and 15cm apart. Stitch, leaving top section unquilted.

Step 5 - Fold in half, like closing a book, with yellow micro fleece on the inside. Stitch across the bottom and up the side.

Step 6 - Fold the Minky dot fabric in half with right sides together so that the shape measures 47.5cm x 70cm. Stitch across the bottom and up the side. Turn right side out.

Step 7 - Insert padded pocket inside the minky dot fabric. Fold the minky dot fabric over the end of the padded insert, tuck under a 1cm hem, and topstitch in place.

Step 8 - Fold top section of pocket over.
