LINEN GOWN

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 - Cut out pattern pieces, as this is going to be a dressing gown, we suggest going up a size to allow for extra room. Lay all your pieces out flat on a clean work surface.

Step 2 - To make this pattern a gown you will need to add some length to the front and back pieces so first, measure from your waist how long you would like your gown to be and record measurement. Lay out your pieces onto your fabric and pin in place ensuring there is enough fabric at the bottom of the pieces to allow for the extra length. Once the pattern is pinned flat, measure from the waist of the pattern and use a pencil and ruler to draw onto the fabric continuing the pattern to your desired length + the hem allowance.

Step 3 - Repeat this process with the facing pieces to ensure they match the new length of your pattern pieces.

Step 4 - Cut out all pattern pieces and assemble following the patterns instructions to create your beautiful linen gown.
