TINY CROCHET JACKET

LEVEL: EASY

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• This jacket takes approx 20 gms 3 Ply
• 3.00mm hook
• Colours are white, cream, pale pink and pale blue, (please do not include pink and blue in the same shawl)
• Knitting needles

INSTRUCTIONS

This jacket is worked from the lower edge. Make 55 ch.

1st Row: Miss 4ch, 3tr in next ch, *miss 1ch, 1tr in next ch, miss 1ch, 3tr in next ch.

Rep from * to end finishing with 1tr in last ch (13 shells)

2nd Row: 1dc, 1ch in first tr, *3tr in centre tr of 3tr shell, 1tr in top of tr.

Rep from * to end of row, 1tr in turning ch.

Rows 3 - 6 as 2nd row. Divide for armholes.

LEFT FRONT

7th Row: Complete 3 shell groups, tr in top of next tr, 1 tr in top of next shell, turn

8th Row: 3ch, 1tr in tr, patt to end

9th Row: 1dc 1ch in first tr, 2tr in shell (front neck edge) patt to end, 1tr in last 2tr

10th Row: 3ch, 1tr in next tr, patt to last 3tr, 1tr in 2nd tr, 1tr in turning ch (front neck edge)

11th Row: 1dc 1ch, miss 1tr, 1tr in next tr patt to end, finish off.

BACK

Join yarn at top of shell at armhole, 3ch in same st, miss 1tr, 1tr in next tr, patt until 5 shells, 1tr in centre tr in next shell, turn. 3ch, patt for 5 rows, finish off.

RIGHT FRONT

7th Row 3ch in top of shell at armhole, 1tr in next tr, patt to end (3 shells).

8th Row patt to end.

9th Row 3ch patt to end, 2tr in last shell, 1tr in turning ch

10th Row 1tr in next tr, miss 1tr, 1tr in next tr, patt to end

11th Row 3ch, 1tr in next tr, patt to last 3tr, miss 1tr, 1tr in last 2tr, finish off.

SLEEVES

With right side facing, 1tr into top of armhole, 1 shell, 1tr, 1 shell, 1tr, 1 shell, 1tr, 1 shell, 1tr, 1 shell, 1tr, turn (5 shells). Patt 6 rows, finish off. Slip st tops of sleeves and shoulders tog.

With right side facing, beg at lower edge of jacket, dc evenly along lower edge, fronts and neck of jacket, keeping work flat and even on each side. Sew ribbon or button at V of neck.
