WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 'Moda Vera' Wonder Wool 100g ball
- C1 Dark blue x 2 balls
- C2 Pink x 2 balls
- C3 Grey Marle x 1 ball
- C4 Cream x 1 ball
- 1 pair knitting needles 15mm.
- Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure
- Rod to hang the work on the wall
MEASUREMENTS
Size (approx) 40 x 65cm finished excluding tassels.
TENSION
Not essential for this wall hanging.
INSTRUCTIONS
Using C1 cast on 30 sts
Row 1 P
Row 2 K1, K front and back of next st, k4, slip 1 k1 psso, k2 tog, k4, K front and back of next 2 sts, k4, slip 1 k1 psso, k2 tog, k4, K front and back of next st, k1
These 2 rows make up the pattern.
Work the following rows:
C1 6 rows
C2 10 rows
C3 4 rows
C4 10 rows
C3 2 rows
C2 6 rows
C1 12 rows
FINISHING
DO NOT PRESS.
Fold over the top of the work and sew down following the line of the chevron leaving enough space to create a pocket to thread the rod through.
Sew in ends and make 2 tassels to hang on the points of the work.
