Tassel:
Wrap C1 around cardboard 100 times. Thread 30cm length of yarn under wrapped yarn along one side of and tie firmly, leaving ends to attach tassel to bag. Cut opposite ends of wrapped yarn and remove from cardboard. Use a second 30cm length of yarn to tightly wrap several times around tassel, approx 4cm from the top. Tie a firm knot in wrapped yarn and bury ends inside tassel using yarn needle. Trim ends. Insert 4mm hook under wrapped yarn at top of tassel and draw a loop of both strands left at top of tassel tog through, then make 5ch from loops on hook. Fasten off.

Finishing:
DO NOT PRESS. Sew in ends. Position strap on top edge of bag on as pictured and sew firmly into place. Sew the tassel halfway between strap ends along one top edge, using the unworked ends from the short length of chain at the top of the tassel
