• 'Bernat' Blanket 300g Size Small x 2 balls Size Large x 2 balls.
• A 6.50mm crochet hook or size required to give correct tension.
• A stitch marker.
• Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure

TENSION

9 dc x 10 rows to 10cm over double crochet fabric, using 6.50mm hook.

INSTRUCTIONS

BASKET

Using 6.50mm hook, make 2ch.

1st round - 6dc in 2nd ch from hook, join with sl st in first dc to form a ring.

2nd round - 1ch, 2dc in each dc around, join with sl st in first dc ... 12dc.

3rd round - 1ch, * 2dc in next dc, 1dc in next dc, rep from * around, join with sl st in first dc ... 18dc.

4th round - 1ch, * 2dc in next dc, 1dc in each of next 2dc, rep from * around, join with sl st in first dc ... 24dc.

5th round - 1ch, * 2dc in next dc, 1dc in each of next 3dc, rep from * around, join with sl st in first dc ... 30dc.

6th round - 1ch, * 2dc in next dc, 1dc in each of next 4dc, rep from * around, join with sl st in first dc ... 36dc.

7th round - 1ch, * 2dc in next dc, 1dc in each of next 5dc, rep from * around, join with sl st in first dc ... 42dc.

Both sizes -

Next round - 1ch, working into back loops only, 1dc in each dc around, join with sl st in first dc, place marker at end of round.

Beg Sides -

Next round - 1ch, working into both loops, 1dc in each dc around, join with sl st in first dc. Rep last round until sides measure 26 (31) cm from marked round. Do not fasten off.

Beg Handles -

1st round - 1ch, 1dc in each of next 16 (22) dc, 6ch, miss next 6dc, 1dc in each of next 33 (45) dc, 6ch, miss next 6dc, 1dc in each of next 17 (23) dc, join with sl st in first dc.
