DEER ANTLER HEADBANDS

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Plastic headband
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Scissors
  • Brown paper bags (cut into strips)
  • Mod Podge
  • Paint
  • Wire
  • Hot glue gun
  • Artificial flowers/flower embellishments
  • Paintbrush

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1

Create the base of the antlers by attaching pipe cleaners to the headband. Twist them together to make them sturdy and continue to add more as you move up. Its good inspiration to look up deer antler photos.

STEP 2

Cut the brown paper bag into small strips. Pour the Mod Podge into a bowl and mix with water (1 part Mod Podge and 1 part water), this will make dipping the paper strips into the glue easier.

STEP 3

Dip each paper strip into the Mod Podge mixture and wrap them around the pipe cleaners. If you want to speed up the drying process, you can use a hair dryer.

STEP 4

Once the paper mache antlers are dry, you can begin painting them. After the paint has dried, use
a hot glue gun to secure the flowers and leaves of your choice around the antlers.
