- Cable needle

TENSION
12 sts and 18 rows to 10cm over patt using 6mm needles.

ABBREVIATIONS
Alt = Alternate(ing), Approx = Approximately, Beg = Begin(ning), C4B = Slip next 2 stitches onto cable needle and leave at back of work. K2, then K2 from cable needle, K = Knit, P = Purl, Pat = Pattern, Rep = Repeat, RS = Right side, St(s) = Stitch(es), WS = Wrong side
Cast on 93 sts. Knit 8 rows (garter stitch) noting 1st row is RS.
Proceed in pat as follows:
1st row - (RS). K3. P1. K4. P1. K3. Rep from to end of row.
2nd and alt rows - K4. P4. K5. P4. Rep from to last 4 sts. K4.
3rd row - K3. P1. C4B. P1. K3. Rep from to end of row.
5th and 7th rows - As 1st row.
8th row - As 2nd row.
Rep rows 1 to 8 for pat until work from beg measures approx. 98 cm, ending on a 1st or 7th row. Knit 8 rows (garter stitch).
Cast off (WS).
