FUR MAKEUP BAGS
LEVEL: EASY
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 40cm faux fur
- 40cm cotton fabric
- 25cm zip in coordinating colour
- Cotton thread in coordinating colour
- Sewing machine with zipper foot
- Pins
- Scissors
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1 - Cut two pieces of fur measuring 20cm x 25cm
Step 2 - Cut two pieces of cotton fabric measuring 20cm x 25cm
Step 3 - Place the zip between one outside and one lining piece with right sides together, and pin.
Step 4 - Using your zipper foot, stitch it in place.
Step 5 - Repeat with other side of the zip and the other piece of fur and fabric.
Step 6 - Stitch the other three sides of the lining and outside pieces together, using a 1cm seam allowance. Leave a 3cm gap in the lining for turning.
Step 7 - Turn inside out through the turning hole, then stitch it shut.
Step 8 - Repeat with different coloured furs, or in different sizes to make matching sets!
