WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • "Bella Baby" Baby Bliss Nippers 100g x 2 balls each 1st Colour (C1) Oatmeal, 2nd Colour (C2) Charcoal, 3rd Colour (C3) White.
  • A 5.50mm crochet hook, or size required to give correct tension.
  • Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure

MEASUREMENTS

Width (approx) cm 75
Length (approx) cm 95

TENSION

10.5 sts x 6 rows to 10cm over treble fabric, using 5.50mm hook.

INSTRUCTIONS

Using 5.50mm hook and C1, make 76ch.

1st row (RS) - 1tr in 4th ch from hook, 1tr in each ch to end, turn ... 74tr.

2nd row - 3ch (counts as 1tr), 1tr in each tr to end, turn.

2nd row forms patt for rem when repeated.

Beg Stripe Patt -

Rep 2nd row in stripes of 2 rows C1, 1 row C2, 2 rows C3, 1 row C1, 3 rows C2, 2 rows C1

, 4 rows C3, 1 row C1, 2 rows C2, 1 row C3, 3 rows C1, 2 rows C3, 4 rows C2, 1 row C3, 2 rows C1, 1 row C2, 3 rows C3, 2 rows C2, and 2 rows C1, then rep from to once, work 4 rows C3. ... 56 rows in all.

Fasten off.

FINISHING

DO NOT PRESS. Sew in ends towards centre of Blanket. Using a 5.50mm hook, join C2 in any stitch along one side edge. Work 3 rounds of double crochet evenly around all edges, taking care to keep work flat and working 3dc in each corner.
