What Is An Easy Recipe For Dark Chocolate?

Dark chocolate is easy to make, and you can add some additional flavours too. To make this recipe, you will need some cocoa powder, honey, vanilla extract, and coconut oil. Also, make sure you have some bowls, a cooking pot and measuring cups at hand.

Place the cooking pot on the stove and put it on a low heat. Add half a cup of coconut oil and let it melt in the pot. Please do not leave the coconut oil unattended! This is an ingredient with a very low boiling point, so the coconut oil will melt very quickly.

When the coconut oil has melted, add four tablespoons of your favourite honey. You can also add half a tablespoon of vanilla extract. Then, take the whisk and mix everything well. Please do not turn up the heat, as this can cause problems later on. Also, if you like some sweeter dark chocolate, you can add more sweet ingredients during this process.

Once you have mixed the oil with the honey and the extract, you can start adding the cocoa powder. If you don’t have a strainer, simply add smaller amounts of powder at a time. Use a whisk to mix your ingredients well. If you do not have a whisk, you can also use a wooden spoon.

When everything is mixed properly, remove the pan from the fire. Take a metal or wooden spoon and keep mixing the chocolate until it becomes thicker. The colour of your chocolate should also become darker.

Place a bit of baking paper on the kitchen counter and then add the chocolate mixture on it to let it cool. Take another piece of baking paper and put it on top of the chocolate. Press hard to give the chocolate a compressed shape.

When the chocolate has cooled down sufficiently, you should place it in the fridge for at least one hour. Once it has been refrigerated, the chocolate is ready for eating! The best thing about it? You can keep it for a whopping two years, as this is the average shelf life for dark chocolate!

What Is An Easy Recipe For Milk Chocolate?

The majority of people are most fond of milk chocolate. Fortunately, we also have a brilliant recipe for milk chocolate.

Take a cooking pot and fill up halfway with water. Then, take a regular mixing bowl and put it on top of the pot. By doing this, you prevent the chocolate and other ingredients from burning.

Next, take one cup of cocoa butter and add it to the warmed-up mixing bowl. While the butter is melting, be sure to stir it continuously. When the butter has melted fully, add one cup of cocoa powder. It is always best to sift your cocoa powder in. If you do not have the required tools on hand, you can add a little bit of cocoa at a time.

Once you have added all the cocoa powder, add half a cup of milk powder and one full cup of regular sugar. When you start stirring the powders, you will notice the chocolate gets a much lighter colour.

When all the powders are added, remove the bowl from the heat source and stir the chocolate as mentioned in the previous recipe. The final result should be relatively smooth and should not contain any lumps. If you want any additional flavours in your chocolate later on, you can add dried fruits or nuts during this stage.

When you are done mixing, use a candy mould and put the chocolate in it. Once it has sufficiently cooled down, place the candy mould into the fridge and let the chocolate set. You should allow the chocolate to set in the refrigerator for at least one hour before you attempt to consume it.
