Get To Know The Artist
Based in Gold Coast, Ellie grew up listening to her Nanna's story and slept beneath intricate quilts. Her mum also owned a fabrics store in a small country town so Ellie has been inseparable from quilting, crafting, and fabrics growing up. With the love of stories and fabrics embedded in her DNA, she has partnered with many major Australian retailers to bring fun and nostalgic fabric design to fabrics lovers. She is based on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, where she resides with her four little muses and left-brained husband. Ellie holds a BA of Creative Industries from the Queensland University of Technology, including studies in visual art at the esteemed University of Michigan. In addition, Ellie holds a post-graduate certificate in Film from the Prague International Film School and a Masters in Visual Art from the Queensland College of Art.
