Transition Roller Blinds
Unique & Functional
Transition Roller Blinds are a versatile window treatment. They have the ability to provide 2 functions from the one blind. They may also be referred to as Vision or Zebra blinds within the wider market.
Dual function
The Transition Roller Blind is manufactured using a two-tone striped fabric that revolves around a tube within the headrail giving the appearance of a front layer and back layer of fabric on your window. When the blind is fully lowered the darker stripes are aligned which will provide you with filtered light throughout the day. By adjusting the blind slightly, you can then alternate the light and the dark stripes which will then provide room darkening or even full blockout depending on your fabric choice.
We have a wide selection of fabrics available including Textured, Woven & Premium Blockout in a generous assortment of colours, so you are sure to find one to suit your decor and styling. Transition Roller Blinds are supplied with a fully colour coordinated metal base rail & Cassette, so no ugly brackets or hardware is exposed. You also have the option of your chosen fabric to be inserted into the face of the cassette for a fully streamlined appearance. Should you want to maximise your outside view, the Transition Roller Blinds and base rail tuck away neatly into the cassette when fully rolled up. Ease of operation with a simple colour coordinated chain similar to that of a roller blind. Stainless steel chains are also an available option.
Affordable
Having one blind that provides two options makes this an affordable choice for your home. Whilst you have the ease of operation like that of a roller blind you can do it all with the one blind rather than having to purchase 2 Roller Blinds - 1 light filtering and 1 blockout. The Transition Roller Blind is also great for a recess application as you only need to have a window recess deep enough to take the one blind, however they are also ideally suited to be mounted on your window architrave or directly on your wall. Transition Roller Blinds are available up to 2800mm in width meaning most windows can be covered with the one blind rather than having to mount two separate blinds side by side.
Caring for your Transition Roller Blind
The Transition Roller Blind consists of a woven fabric which will benefit from a regular dusting with a soft clean cloth, feather duster or a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment. For spot cleaning we recommend a damp cloth with a neutral soap. Never use harsh cloths, chlorine or ammonia-based chemicals or abrasive cleaners on your Transition Roller Blind. The woven fabric is both strong with a delicate appearance, however, we recommend Transition Roller Blinds are not suitable for wet areas such as bathrooms or laundries and should be fully retracted if windows are open exposing rain, wind, damp or if condensation is a problem.
