COASTAL RESIN PAINTINGS

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 - Use Jo Sonja Paint to create abstract beach scene. We used a medium and large brush to create textured brush strokes. Jo Sonja paints are lovely to work with and allow you to create nice blended colours. Experiment with different techniques until you are happy with your painting.

Step 2 - Let paint dry completely.

Step 3 - While your painting is drying set up a clean and flat work surface to work on. Place a sheet or protective cover over it as the resin can get messy.

Step 4 - Once painting is dry, place canvas on top of 4 plastic cups (one in each corner) this will allow it to sit high off the table and the resin can pour over the side.

Step 5 - Mix liquid gloss kit in a plastic cup following the instructions on the packaging.

Step 6 - Carefully pour resin all over the canvases. You can use the paddle that comes in the packet to spread the resin evenly. Once finished use a pin to carefully pop any air bubbles that arise.

Step 7 - Leave to dry for 24hours before touching. Then hang and admire your new resin art!
