BASIC LETTER CANVAS

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 - Use the masking tape to mask out the letter you wish to use on your canvas. Ensure to stick down the tape smoothly so no paint can seep underneath. If you want your letter to be thick use multiple pieces of tape.

Step 2 - Now it's time to paint. Starting at the bottom of the canvas pour a teaspoon amount of the pink acrylic paint onto the canvas and paint about a third of the canvas ensuring you cover over the masking tape sections.

Step 3 - Add a small amount of pink and white paint to the canvas, about half a teaspoon of each just above the pink paint and blend the colours together to create a lighter colour pink. Use a small amount of water to blend the lighter pink in with the darker pink from Step 2 and paint another third of the canvas in this colour. Again ensure you have painted over the masking tape areas.

Step 4 - Repeat step 3 but this time with more white paint and only a tiny drop of pink. Mix the colours to create a very pale pink colour and again blend in with the middle pink colour and painting the remainder of the canvas. Allow half an hour for the paint to dry fully.

Step 5 - To finish carefully peel off the masking tape once paint is completely dry to reveal the white letter underneath.
