INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1 - Sketch out what you would like to draw, it's best to plan out your composition as the canvas space we're working with is very small
Step 2 - For this design, we went with abstract designs and shapes. It's best to paint in layers and to let each layer to dry in-between so the paint doesn't smudge. For clean lines, we recommend going back in with a fine detailed brush to paint over any uneven lines or marks.
Step 3 - Let dry for a day to ensure all layers of paint are dry.
Tips:
We recommend mixing colours to create different hues and tones. This will allow you to open up your colour palette, so you're not restricted to the 12 colours available in the paint set. For example, to create Naples Yellow, we mixed a small amount of yellow with white to make a pale yellow colour, it can be left as is or to add more warmth, we recommend adding in a tiny dash of orange.
For Fawn, we mixed white, a bit of yellow and a dash of brown. Be careful not to add too much brown as this will deepen the hue. The fun part is playing around with the combination and mixing to your liking.
