WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- 'Abbey Road' The Wind Cries Merino 25g x 8 balls
- 1 pair 4.50mm knitting needles or sizes required to give correct tension.
- Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure
Measurements
Width (approx) cm 50
Length (approx) cm 185
TENSION
21 sts and 30 rows to 10cm over stocking st, using 4.50mm needles.
INSTRUCTIONS
Using 4.50mm needles, cast on 105 sts loosely.
Note - When joining in a new ball of yarn, join inside the 3 sts of rib at each end, to avoid unsightly knots along side edges of Wrap.
Beg rib - 1st row (RS) - K2, * P1, K1, rep from * to last st, K1.
2nd row - K1, * P1, K1, rep from * to end.
Rep 1st and 2nd rows once more ... 4 rows rib in all.
5th row - K2, P1, knit to last 3 sts, P1, K2.
6th row - K1, P1, K1, purl to last 3 sts, K1, P1, K1.
Rep last 2 rows until work measures 184cm from beg, ending with a 6th row.
Work 4 rows rib (as before) across all sts.
Cast off very loosely in rib.
FINISHING
DO NOT PRESS. Sew in ends.
