FELT FLAGS

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 - Start planning your design by drawing it out on a piece of paper first. You can create templates for each part of
your design on paper and then trace off onto your felt later.

Step 2 - Choose the colour of felt you want to use.

Step 3 - Cut out your main background piece of felt for your flag or wall hanging. Use a piece of dowel as a gauge to how big you want it to be.

Step 4 - Either trace around your templates made in Step 1 or draw designs directly onto felt and cut out using scissors.

Step 5 - Once you have all your pieces of felt cut out and ready to use it's time to assemble your flags. Using either the hot glue gun or fabric glue, draw a line of glue across the edge of your felt that will be wrapping around the dowel. Fold felt around the dowel and press in place to secure.

Step 6 - Now your base is ready, glue on all other felt pieces to bring your design to life!
