ELMERS UNICORN
LEVEL: EASY
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Cardboard
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Hole punch
- 'Elmer' gloo stick
- 'Elmer' glitter gloo
- Sharpie
- Gelato yarn
- Joggle eye
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1. Using a pencil draw your unicorn design onto the coloured card and cut out.
Step 2. Use hole punch to create holes along the neck of the unicorn.
Step 3. To create the mane cut strands of the yarn about 8 strands per tassel. Fold strands in half and pull the looped yarn through the hole, feed the other end of stands through the looped yarn and pull tight to create tassel. Repeat this process for each hole until the whole mane is complete.
Step 4. It is now time to embellish your unicorns face. Trace around end of nose and cut out of contrasting paper. Use elmer's gloo stick to stick down on top.
Step 5. Use glue to stick down joggle eye.
Step 6. Decorate any other features such as eye lashes using a sharpie pen.
Step 7. To finish use glitter glue to decorate the unicorn horn and mane, allow to dry before handling.
