DIY BINOCULARS

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 - Cut out a piece of card or paper to cover the cardboard roll. Use double-sided tape to secure in place. Repeat on the other cardboard roll so you have 2 colourful rolls.

Step 2 - Cut a long piece of paper roughly 2cm wide and 20cm long. Join the two rolls together by placing double-sided tape on the long piece of paper and then wrapping it around the 2 cardboard rolls. You can also use washi tape instead but the paper will be stronger.

Step 3 - Repeat step 2 to secure the rolls together further.

Step 4 - Now it's time to decorate with stickers, washi tape and any other decorations you want to use.

Step 5 - Have an adult carefully make 2 small holes in the sides at the top of your binoculars using sharp scissors.

Step 6 - Thread some trim or cord through the holes and tie off to finish.

Step 7 - Repeat this process to create different designs for your different adventures.
