FLANNEL UNPAPER TOWELS

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 - Prewash and dry flannel according to fabric washing instructions

Step 2 - Cut two rectangles 10" (26cm) wide by 9 1/2" (24cm) high

Step 3 - Place right sides together and sew around the edge using a 1/2" (15mm) seam allowance (make sure to leave a gap on one side 5-10cm long and reverse stitch at the start and end of sewing)

Step 4 - Trim corners being careful not to cut through the sew line. This helps to remove bulk from the corners

Step 5 - Turn right side out through the gap you have left and carefully push out the corner points using a chopstick or a knitting needle

Step 6 - Press the unpaper towel using a warm iron, making sure to press under the seam allowance from the gap

Step 7 - Top stitch 1/4" (6mm) from the edge, and a diagonal line from one corner to another. This helps to keep the unpaper towel flat.

Step 8 - Repeat for as many towels as needed
