AUSTRALIANA APRON

INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1. Create apron template by drawing a rectangle on some pattern paper. The length of the rectangle should be your finished length from top of apron to base. And the width of the apron should be the measurement of the apron around the body.
Step 2. At the top of the apron draw in curved armhole shape. Add 1 cm seam allowance around the entire pattern and cut out.
Step 3. Place pattern onto fabric and trace around. Cut 2 x apron body pieces.
Step 4. With wrong sides facing in stitch 0.5cm around the entire aprons, sewing them together.
Step 5. Sew bias binding around entire edge of apron, with enough excess to tie around the back and neck.
Step 6. Press with iron to finish.
