POM POM RUG

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• 12 count canvas
• Yarn
• Pom Pom Maker
• Darning Needle
• Scissors

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1. Cut 12 count canvas to desired size. Use the weave of the material to get a straight line.

Step 2. Using a pom pom making tool, make enough pom poms to cover the surface when tightly packed together. Trim them so they are neatly rounded. Do not trim the yarn you used to tie the pom pom off.

Step 3. Using a darning needle with a wide eye, thread the tying-off strings of the pom poms through the holes in the 12 count canvas and tie each pom pom in place.

Step 4. Continue in rows, setting each pom pom in place so that it sits snugly against those around it, and securing it firmly with knots.

Step 5. Tidy up the back by trimming the knotted yarn.
