LITTLE HEART HANGERS

LEVEL: EASY

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• 6 x assorted fat flats
• Offray DFS Mini Dot 3mm ribbon, Shock Pink
• Crafters Choice Stuffin
• Optional - dried lavender or pot pourri
• Matching Gutermann 100% cotton thread
• Pins, tape measure
• Fabric marker/pencil
• Scissors, seam ripper
• Hand sewing needle
• Sewing machine

Note: Read all instructions carefully before commencing the project.

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1.Press flat fat and using the template provided trace 10 hearts onto the wrong side. Carefully cut out the hearts.

Step 2.Cut a 15cm (6") length of ribbon and fold in half with cut ends together to form a loop. With the right side of one heart facing, pin the ends of the ribbon to the top raw edge of the heart with raw edges aligned. This means the ribbon loop will be on top of the fabric and inside the heart for sewing.

Step 3.Place another heart on top with right sides together. Pin hearts together around the edge leaving a 4cm (1 1/2") opening in one side (see diagram).

Step 4.Using a 6mm (1/4") seam allowance, sew around the edge of each heart leaving a 4cm (1 1/2") opening in one side (see diagram). Press. Trim point and clip into top edge. Turn right side out and press.

Step 5.Gently stuff heart adding lavender or pot pourri if desired.

Step 6.Hand sew opening closed. Repeat to make as many hearts as desired.
