- 'Abbey Road' The Wind Cries Merino 25g x 7 (8-9-10) balls
- 1 pair each 4.50mm and 4mm knitting needles or sizes required to give correct tension.
- 3 stitch-holders
- Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure

To Fit Bust (cm): 75-80 (size S), 85-90 (size M), 95-100 (size L), 105-110 (size XL)
Actual Size (approx) cm: 85 (size S), 95 (size M), 105 (size L), 115 (size XL)

Sleeve Length (cm): 32 (all sizes)
TENSIONS
21 sts and 30 rows to 10cm over stocking st, using 4.50mm needles.
INSTRUCTIONS
BACK
Using 4.50mm needles, cast on 91 (101-113-123) sts.
Beg Rib - 1st row (RS) - K2, P1, K1, rep from to last st, K1.
2nd row - K1, P1, K1, rep from to end.
Rep 1st and 2nd rows until work measures 4cm from beg, ending with a 2nd row.
Work in stocking st until work measures 18 (19-20-21) cm from beg, ending with a purl row.
Shape Raglan Armholes - Cast off 2 sts at beg of next 2 rows ... 87 (97-109-119) sts.
Next row - K2, sl 1, K1, psso, knit to last 4 sts, K2tog, K2.
Cont dec one st (as before) in every foll 4th (4th-4th-alt) row until 69 (85-103-39) sts rem, sizes S, M and L only - then in every foll alt row until 33 (35-37) sts rem.
All Sizes - Work 1 row.
Leave rem sts on a stitch-holder.
LEFT FRONT
Using 4.50mm needles, cast on 45 (49-55-61) sts.
Beg Rib - Work in rib as for lower band of Back until work measures 4cm from beg, ending with a 2nd row.
Work in stocking st until work measures 18 (19-20-21) cm from beg, ending with a purl row.
Shape Raglan Armhole - Cast off 2 sts at beg of next row ... 43 (47-53-59) sts.
Work 1 row.
Next row - K2, sl 1, K1, psso, knit to end.
Cont dec one st (as before) at raglan edge in every foll 4th (4th-4th-alt) row until 34 (41-50-30) sts rem, sizes S, M and L only - then in every foll alt row until 24 (25-26) sts rem.
All Sizes ... 24 (25-26-30) sts.
Shape Neck - Next row (WS) - Cast off 7 (7-7-8) sts, purl to end ... 17 (18-19-22) sts.
Dec one st at raglan edge (as before) in next row, then in every foll alt row 7 (8-8-10) times, AT SAME TIME dec one st at neck edge in every row 3 times, then in every foll alt row 4 (4-5-6) times ... 2 sts.
Next row - P2, turn, K2tog. Fasten off.
RIGHT FRONT
Work as for Left Front to .
Work 1 row.
Shape Raglan Armhole - Cast off 2 sts at beg of next row ... 43 (47-53-59) sts.
Next row - Knit to last 4 sts, K2tog, K2.
Cont dec one st (as before) at raglan edge in every foll 4th (4th-4th-alt) row until 34 (41-50-31) sts rem, sizes S, M and L only - then in every foll alt row until 25 (26-27) sts rem.
All Sizes - Work 1 row.
Shape Neck - Next row (RS) - Cast off 7 (7-7-8) sts, knit to last 4 sts, K2tog, K2 ... 17 (18-19-22) sts.
Work 1 row.
Dec one st at raglan edge (as before) in next row, then in every foll alt row 7 (8-8-10) times, AT SAME TIME dec one st at neck edge in every row 3 times, then in every foll alt row 4 (4-5-6) times ... 2 sts.
Next row - P2, turn, K2tog. Fasten off.
SLEEVES
Using 4mm needles, cast on 61 (65-69-73) sts.
Beg Rib - Work in rib as for lower band of Back until work measures 4cm from beg, ending with a 1st row.
Next row (WS) - Rib 6 (5-2-8), inc in next st, rib 6 (4-4-2), inc in next st, rep from to last 5 (4-1-7) st/s, rib 5 (4-1-7) ... 69 (77-83-93) sts.
Change to 4.50mm needles.
Work in stocking st until work measures 32cm from beg, ending with a purl row.
Shape Raglan - Cast off 2 sts at beg of next 2 rows ... 65 (73-79-89) sts.
Next row - K2, sl 1, K1, psso, knit to last 4 sts, K2tog, K2.
Cont dec one st (as before) at each end of every foll 4th (4th-4th-alt) row until 51 (65-73-9) sts rem, sizes S, M and L only - then in every foll alt row until 7 sts rem.
All Sizes - Work 1 row.
Leave rem sts on a stitch-holder.
NECKBAND
Using mattress st, join raglan seams, noting that tops of sleeves form part of neckline. With RS facing, using 4mm needles, knit up 24 (26-26-30) sts evenly along right front neck, knit across sts from right sleeve, back and left sleeve stitch-holders, then knit up 24 (26-26-30) sts evenly along left front neck ... 95 (101-103-117) sts.
Work in rib as for lower band of (beg with a 2nd row) until neckband measures 2.5cm, ending with a 2nd row.
Cast off loosely in rib.
LEFT FRONT BAND
With RS facing and using 4mm needles, knit up 87 (89-93-95) sts evenly along side edge of neckband and left front edge.
Work in rib as for lower band of Back (beg with a 2nd row) until band measures 2.5cm, ending with a 2nd row.
Cast off loosely in rib.
RIGHT FRONT BAND
With RS facing and using 4mm needles, knit up 87 (89-93-95) sts evenly along right front edge and side edge of neckband.
Complete as for Left Front Band.
FINISHING
DO NOT PRESS. Join side and sleeve seams.
